Seattle SAKE welcomes new
members with or without paddling experience! HOW
TO GET STARTED? -
Each
prospective member can try paddling at up to three practices before joining Seattle
Club SAKE. - Set up a practice with more than
one team! Using the list at the right, click on the team with the practice times
that work for you.

Wear
workout clothes to paddle and bring water for practice. Bring another set of dry
clothes to change into in case you get wet!

Seattle SAKE membership
fee is annual, spanning January 1 to December 31 every year. -
General SAKE membership fee is
for 2007 is $90 for one year, $170 for two years, and $245 for three years (paid
in one lump sum). -
Team
Survivor Northwest members, full-time students and seniors (55 years and above)
is $60 for 2007. -
New
members, including TSNW members, students and seniors, may join Seattle SAKE at
any time after June 30, 2007 for a prorated fee of $50. -
New members who join the Club
after October 1, 2007 may pay the full appropriate membership fee for the 2008,
which includes the remainder of the current year. -
Full
payment of the appropriate fee by or before the first water practice after January
1 of every year is required to renew existing membership.
Club membership fees are neither
refundable nor transferable. WHAT
TO WEAR, WHAT TO BRING: -
Layer
clothing for adjustment in comfort (fast-drying fabrics, polar fleece, water resistant
jacket, pants and hat for cold and wet weather recommended). -
Hat or visor for warmth or shade from sun, when
needed. -
Sunglasses and
Sunscreen, when needed. -
Shoes
with rubber soles attached securely to feet (dock and boat surfaces are slippery).

Gloves (optional) partial
or full. -
Water bottle.

Extra set of dry clothes
and towel in car - expect to get wet! |
