Please join Seattle SAKE Paddling Club in our  SAKE Serves Blood Drive, April 1 - 30, through the regional network of Bloodworks Northwest donation centers. This virtual blood drive is in honor of our SAKE Survivor teammates, some of whom have received blood transfusions as part of their treatment. All SAKE members, as well as their friends and family, are invited to participate to meet the needs of our community members who rely on donated blood for cancer treatment, surgeries, and in trauma situations.

 

Give blood between April 1 - 30 at any Bloodworks Northwest location. When you arrive, provide the code SAKE to the registrar to track our participation and impact! Our target is 25 SAKE members, friends or family. Donors need 56 days between donations so we will hold repeat drives every other month on even-numbered months for those who are able and willing to be regular donors.

 

Donation appointments are required. Click here to find a convenient donation site and time. Make it a party and bring a friend (or two or three) – just be sure you each make an appointment so you can donate together.  If you need help booking an appointment, please e-mail or call 1-800-398-7888.  Wear your short sleeved team jersey and post a selfie on the SAKE members and friends Facebook page. For fun, you can also RSVP on the clubsake.com Events page - though this is not required and won’t save you a space at Bloodworks Northwest.
