Small Kindnesses

Project Lead: Heidi Gainer
Task Force:  Heidi Gainer, Andrea Gierlich, and Laurie Rich

Many in our greater Seattle communities go without basic necessities so many of us take for granted, like toilet paper, food, toothpaste, socks, and warm jackets. The Small Kindnesses giving projects require little time and energy from members, but have a big impact on the lives of those who are in need of such resources. Recognizing that not everyone can give a half-day or a full day to larger projects, the Small Kindnesses offer a continuum of giving opportunities. The SAKE Small Kindnesses projects will occur during June, August, October and December.

For each of the stated months a specific product(s) will be requested and collection will occur at practices the second week of the month. Members will have the opportunity to bring non-perishable food, socks, school supplies and winter/holiday items.
