SEVENTY48 is a 70 mile race that starts in Tacoma and end at Port Towensend that must be completed in 48 hours to qualify.This race requires:

• be an experienced OC6 paddler in all water conditions
• attend no less than 2 sessions per week
• attend 3 of 4 marathon (26 miile) training sessions
• have experience and be able to participate in 14 hours of rigourous activity
